You must activate your card in order to redeem rewards earned at issuing merchants. If your card is not activated, you will continue to earn rewards and may use any gift balance. You will only be able to redeem earned rewards upon activation.
Remember, the only way to protect your balances should your card be lost or stolen is to activate your card. Once you activate we can transfer all balances and profile information from the lost or stolen card to a new card at any merchant location.
